I was thinking a small treadmill, but I can just go outside most of the time, and I don’t really want to walk inside.

Treadmill is easier on your joints, shoes, soles off your feet I believe. I think it’s overall just more healthy for people when running. I wish o had access to one but I’m not ready to shell out for gym membership yet.

You’ll also be able to go for a run whenever you want, because let’s be real, traffic, weather, and prying eyes get in the way of running comfortably.

To be honest, I do not regard the spontaneous as a polycule. If people repeatedly meet up to do that, then it’s a polycule, but if it happens once it is not

I often fantasise about how good life would be without it. Then again, people where I grew up were exceptionally cruel and I might have given up or acted out against them in violence if I didn’t have evidence that good people were out there

I’m afraid I disagree. Land ownership does go too far though, especially in there modern day. But to me, the fundamentak act of placing land under the ownership of a family who will tend to it over generations, is good

Landfills actually seem to be endorsed by civil engineers to some degree (while also acknowledging that genuine Reuse, Recycle, or Combustion of products would be better)

I can’t really remember what i learned from this video though - it might be entirely about the effort it takes to protect the surrounding soil from leeching (chemicals and plastic want to go into the soil and mess it up!). So the sole engineering benefit of landfill might be that it literally fills in places where soil was “mined” to be used as gardening and construction materials.

Basically i just mean active dunning-kruger effect; there are people i talk to who will interrupt my discussions (regardless of topic) to interject some “fun fact” or demonstrate that they know at-least-as-much-as-me about the topic; so if i was talking about a historical event in a foreign country, e/g poland, they’ll interject or say at the end of my piece “and poland is next to france, right?”

But this makes it sound like it’s just a geographically curious person seeking tutelage. I also experience people doing this to boastfully show off that they know some science concept, “mansplain” it to everyone around, but usually explain it really badly and it really irks me because i’d seem like a fusspot for correcting them and explaining it properly, they’ll probably go. *“Uh, that doesn’t sound any different to how I explained it! haha.” *

The liectenstein equivalent of this would be:
