I don’t think it matters. The rest of the world has already learned that the US can only be trusted for four years at a time at best.

It’s not like people are going to start trusting Russia either once Putin is gone.

I started my own handyman business 3 years ago and I don’t consider it a scam nor did I need to invest millions up-front. Not even thousands in-fact. I earn a comfortable living from it and tons of gratitude from happy customers.

It’s pretty easy to stand out to your advantage by being fair and honest. People notice it and they tell other people too.

I have a similar setup on my truck even though it doesn’t have those notches. I just don’t like having the overhang flopping in the air and not even being supported by the tailgate anymore so I just don’t bother with it. A mid-size pickup simply isn’t good for that. If it’s just a few sheets I’ll put them on the roof but for more than that I just use a trailer instead.

That doesn’t answer the question “what is intelligence” no more than a thermometer explains what is heat energy.

Full sheet of plywood is 250cm long. That truck has a 150cm long bed. You’re going to need roof racks or a trailer anyway. I know because I regularly haul full sheets of plywood and plasterboard with a pickup truck that has a 180cm long bed. Leaving the tailgate open doesn’t help much either because while the bed technically is wide enough for a full sheet, in practice it’s not because of the wheel arches on both sides. It wont lay flat and is quite hard to tie down.

It’s a car, not computer. Lack of wireless connectivity is nothing but a plus in my books. My phone has an internet and GPS for when I need them.

And if you need a truck bed daily you’re probably going to buy a truck with a full size one, instead of a 5ft bed which barely gives you more storage space than the trunk of a wagon.

I wasn’t expecting you to start insulting me over a disagreement. You could’ve made your point without going there. I genuinely have no idea what you hoped to achieve with that.

A properly maintained composting toilet produces what is effectively compost. It smells like soil, not poop. I believe the tradition is that you empty the toilet and then let it sit for a year while the decomposing reaction is going on and it’s safe to use as fertilizer the next year.

Not really for as long as people engaging in the comments were real people. Though, then again, if they all were bots too but I didn’t know and couldn’t tell, then I’m not sure what the harm there even would be. If anything, I’d only expect the engagement to be more civil.

Take the test on a different day, or sleep more beforehand, or do a different test, and your IQ will change.

Not as much as people think. We’re talking around 5 points of difference - 10 at max. Broadly speaking, the results of a well-designed test are highly consistent over a long period of time as long as it’s measured under similar conditions. It’s among the most repeatable tests in all of psychology.

IQ doesn’t measure intelligence

We don’t even have agreed upon definition for intelligence so that seems like a weird claim to make.

IQ tests are one of the most well-validated and predictive tools in all of psychology for measuring general cognitive ability, and they predict important life outcomes better than almost anything else in psychology. Feeling discomfort about the results doesn’t invalidate the test itself.

Loudness of gunshots. Every action hero would be deaf.

Archers being told to “hold”. Nobody’s holding a +100lbs warbow.

Sprinklers. In the vast majority of cases they react to heat - not smoke. They only go off individually rather than all at once and the water inside the pipes is black ink-like rust water sludge, not clear tap water.

Also another plumbing related: you don’t need a huge wrench under the sink and drains are not pressurized so there’s no water spraying anywhere when you mess with the p-trap.
