Poor people are getting brainwashed. A lot of people are being told that free healthcare will lead to hedonism and people not taking care of their health, just like how free dental care would lead to people not brushing their teeth (paid/freemium dental care just leads to people only going to the dentist when it’s too late unless they can afford fake teeth).

AI is simultaneously democratizing the arts, sciences, programming etc.; but also for some reason requires its own skill set, which sometimes even presented as the “more difficult” option, and requires you to start learning it by yesterday. Basically AI vendors and boosters are throwing at the wall everything and try to see what sticks. They even started to engage in some anti-slop posting, that’s where the term “flesh-proxy” came from (basically they present the right way of using AI as using it as an editor and/or rewriting the output to “make it yours”).

That term came from AI boosters, who want you to make the AI generated output “yours” (reword it before eventually posting it).

Kids: “So you care about us?”

Conservatives: “Shut up you little kid, you have the duty to take care of your parents even if they’re awful to you, and to learn a lot in school!”

Young adults: “So we can get college degrees?”

Conservatives: “No you stupid idiot, even if you graduate with top grades, you have to go to learn trades instead, our donors have finally automated the job of intellectuals!”

Workers: “So you’re pro-worker? Will the AI mean less work for us?”

Conservatives: “No you lazy idiot, you will have to work like in China’s 996 system, all while we gut the remaining job security under you!”

Conservatives captured the term “liberalism” for themselves, which is quite tiring.

French-style cooking is quite infamous of “entrying” other cultures. Hungarian here, people often try to minimize seasoning in the food they cook, because they saw some French star chef on TV doing things that way, often they’re going even further. I.e. instead of replacing bouillon cubes with soup stock, they just use tap water, jet still claim it’s more “luxurious cooking” that way.
