I used to sleep with notebooks and stationary under my pillows as kid, no matter how uncomfortable it was. Me and Sister would play office and money games with paper we cut into pieces and we even made a sign for the office, i wanted to work in an office so bad it wasn’t unreal

In our money game we use the paper money to pay rent, at least with yard work its a hobby for some adults. I dont think most adults consider paying rent a hobby

I didn’t do that specifically, but one of my grandfathers was an insurance salesman and worked out of a home office before he retired.

He still had all of his things by the time my sister and I would play at their house as kids, and we would spend HOURS playing office. Typing memos to each other, cutting paper, using white out, etc.

Not under my pillow, but I did have a notebook on my nightstand just in case I had a crazy dream I wanted to remember.

I was also obsessed with stationary and loved to play office and library. Maybe a weird question, but do you by change have autism? I have and think this is a 'tism thing.

I am not sure actually, I know i have ADHD plus maladaptive daydreaming, both self-diagnosed(Getting officially diagnosed where i am is not an option) and generally consider myself neurodivergent. I dont feel like i have a problem with social cues though
