Would anyone passing through know if the two boil method still helps with this situation? (Initial boil with excess water, strain after like 15 mins or whatever, add new water, finish cooking rice)

Climate change is making rice more toxic: A new study found that rising temperatures and CO2 levels significantly increase arsenic levels in rice, a staple food for 3.5 billion people.

Health risks are projected to rise sharply: Under future climate scenarios, arsenic-related cancer and disease cases could jump by up to 44% in major rice-consuming countries.

There are ways to reduce the risk: Farming techniques like alternating water use and breeding arsenic-resistant rice strains, along with climate action, could help mitigate the threat.
