Isn’t it by design?

I mean the Pinkerton’s were THE preeminent strike breaking, anti-union organization, responsible for multiple massacres in the process of putting down major strikes and labor organizations. They were sort of absorbed for the most part into the foundation of the FBI, the nation’s top law enforcement agency. The conspiracy has been so out in the open from the beginning that asking any questions has been both hazardous and futile by nature of the blatant lack of secrecy. Cruelty to the worker and the protection of capital above all else was baked in. If you didn’t conform they’d haul you in front of whatever modern form the House Un-American Activities Committee had taken, lock you up, take your property and disgrace your family.
