Here’s a fuckin’ idea. All cops streaming everything they do except taking a shit for the entirety of their shift. On Twitch. Or anywhere else.
All police activity should be public knowledge, with the rare exception of cases where public knowledge may ACTUALLY escalate a situation (see: manhunt in Maine).
Or actual consequences for their actions. And not just forced annual leave; like prison maybe?
You want cops to go to prison when they shoot someone? How will they ever defend themselves from unarmed 12 year old children if they go to prison for shooting them?
There’s just no way to do the job without discriminate and lethal violence!
When they are talking to a victim or witness, some things should still be confidential.
