Hahaha.
Well, I’m glad that information is public. Way back when, I found out that most air force pilots get a stimulant supply.
Then I found out most special forces are also likely given a supply (unable to confirm, but apparently the numbers were allocated sufficiently), and, maybe more surprisingly and least verifiable, almost all forward operating bases will have a supply on hand as well.
This goes back as long as amphetamine has been around too.
<tinfoil hat> Amphetamine is said to not give a a significant cognitive performance improvement to neurotypicals. So either that fact is incorrect, or there are a LOT of neurodivergent pilots and glowies.
</tinfoil hat>You think the army wants their soldiers to be smarter? The mental effects (or lack thereof) are not what they care about. It keeps you awake/alert and makes you less hungry. Both of those are great for soldiers.
It’s not for the cognitive performance.
Stilmulants have a very profound effect in neurotypicals.
