When we crunch the numbers, we don’t see a system bloated by high costs. And when we look at comparison countries, we see that budget cuts and falling revenue go hand-in-hand
I’m glad there IS data to do this comparison. Nothing I’ve seen from proposed cuts has made me believe that they are in the best interest of mail delivery, and its good to see that Canada Post is doing so well relative to other countries.
Canadians need to protect Canada Post from the liberal-conservative coalition serving the rich.
Interesting breakdown. I really don’t know enough to say what should be done but I remember thinking the cuts would not be any kind of improvement. It’s interesting to see it with specific revenue numbers in the real world.
Honestly my mailbox is like 10 pizza flyers for every actual letter. And most of those actual letters are just bank statements that I can’t figure out how to switch to digital.
This year I did get a christmas card from a friend though. So that was nice.
