Hoarding seeds for staple crops would be a better use of money.

I’ve been buying physical silver and gold to hedge against the inevitable economic collapse of the US. One of my friends has been buying precious metals for even longer.

I’ve done the same. The bulk of my money is in various international index funds, but a good chunk is split between gold and silver. Very soon the US will have two choices, tax the billionaires at rates never before seen, or inflate the currency into the ground. It’s not hard to predict what they will choose.
