    A lot of ‘former’ activists I know have been relatively quiet the past year because they’re reorienting to the fact it is going to take a complete revolution that utterly disrupts global trade and supply lines.

    People have been doing the relatively quiet work of divesting from capitalism itself. Learning first aid or food preserves or a functional anarchic form of justice don’t make the news, but they mean that in the upcoming crises the left can fill the gap while states and fascists and corporations struggle.

        In Freudian terms, the Right is based on the Id or base animal instincts, while the left is the Super Ego or long term thinking and lessons learned from civilized interactions.

        In a world without thoughtful information and education and enforcement, the Id is the first thing that people resort to.

    “Flood the zone” and the “firehose of falsehood” doing their job, causing citizens to be overwhelmed and check out.
