I’d be wary of proprietary tech in this context. For reference, most Euro brands use standard components (Bosch batteries, controllers and motors, Shimano shifters or hub gears etc…) which make them both easier to compare for value and maintainable and repairable in almost any shop. The last thing we need in the bike space is a dealer maintenance exclusivity.

The only thing properitary about them is the controller and the frame, also they have a repair network so its not a big deal.
