I don’t know what it’s called in English, but it’s amazing. I shave with this everywhere except downstairs. I need apply NO pressure whatsoever thanks to its own weight and thanks to the sharpness of these Japanese blades. I love it. :3 ⚔️🎌

I have a question. Have you tried shaving your pubic regions with it? Personally, it’s still my favorite tool for that job too, if I want it cleanly shaven. Yeah, you have to be careful, but I feel like it still handles the job better than anything else. I think a lot of people refuse to try because it seems intimidating, but it’s not that bad.
However, make sure you understand the technique first obviously. It’s the same idea as on your face, or anywhere else. You have to keep the skin tight while shaving it, and make sure you never move laterally. The biggest difference is it’s hard to see and obviously the skin is much looser, so you need to make sure to pull everything tight as you make a pass.

Hey! I’m so sorry for leaving you hanging… I’ve had a lot to deal with but FINALLY today I tried shaving downstairs with my safety razor. And it went WELL. 😍 Details below:

Just to get it out of the way since it probably does matter: I have a traditional male dick. 😅🤣 Now, let me start by giving you something to laugh at, which is TOTALLY fine, since I laughed too: DO NOT USE MENTHOL SOAP. 🤣🤣🤣 I just used the shaving soap with which I shave my face, not thinking about how CHILLY it would feel down there. 🥶 Now, after foaming up both my PP, balls and the general immediate area, I carefully did a one run with the razor, NOT against the direction of hair growth, and wow. Just WOW. NO second and third runs or scraping or whatever: it worked just as well as on my face. Just one run and it takes it all. Not baby face clean though, but down to less than millimeters. I guess if an absolute clean shave is the goal, one could try doing a second run against the hair growth, but not this day. 😅 I did tighten the distance of the razor head, just in case I wasn’t able to keep my hand steady or the likes. What BAFFLES me, is that I didn’t get a single nick. Not even on my balls. That’s just crazy.
All in all, I’m not even going back to using electric razors other anything else downstairs. Feel free to ask if you have any questions! 😊

In case OP doesn’t get back to you, I’ve never actually seen anyone have issues with it once they actually do it. You see a lot of people refuse to do it, because it’s intimidating, but every person I’ve seen with experience says that it’s fine, if not great.
If you buy one though, I would not recommend going straight for your pubes. You almost certainly will cut yourself a few times before you’re proficient. You have to learn the technique first. Once you do though it’s far easier, better, cheaper, and I’d say safer than other razors.

Honestly, that’s very personal. There’s no good rule on what’s best. The best option is to get a blade sampler and find out what works for you. Someone’s favorite might work horribly for someone else. I think my favorite has been Gillette Silver Blue, but they were made in Russia and I think they aren’t available anymore, so I’m eventually going to have to go with something else.
That is the only place I use my safety razor, it is amazing
