More I am saying you can’t put a $ value on a thing if you don’t know what the thing sells for. If I buy something and it says I saved $12 instead of yelling me the price I can’t say it costs $12.
I don’t follow. You don’t go to McDonalds and do a home cooked cheaper meal at McDonalds. You aren’t charging at home. You’re charging at a network that isn’t yours. The price of your home electricity is irrelevant. The price is what they say per kWh at their facilities.
And if you don’t know the rate on that network you can’t put a value on the “free” Kws. Like if your went to McDonalds with a coupon for a free burger, but you can not find out how much a burger is you can’t really put a dollar value on that coupon.

1500 kWh x $0.20/kWh = $300
1500 kWh x $0.15/kWh = $225
1500 kWh x $0.10/kWh = $150
It says 50kWh cost me $31.50. I get 1400. 1400/50=28. 28*31.50=882.

Beats me they’re all kind of different. It’s like expecting household groceries to be the same as a restaraunt with the other math.
That is why you need the rate to know how much of a deal this is or is not. You can not make a claim of value without the value calculations.
