They were started by an incest-baby and a bastard-child, driven by 2 jealous mothers, fighting over daddy’s land. While Daddy told them God promised them the world.
Then kept recruiting other people into their argument.
For the down votes, what have I said that’s untrue? If God is truth, then you must judge me by the truth of my words.

Were they?
Abraham and Sarah were siblings (incest). Abraham abandoned Ishmael for long periods of time (bastard child). And Sarah told Abraham not to even dismount his horse while visiting Ishmael and Hagar (jealousy).
All that combined with a dad who told them that God promised them the world.
2 messed up kids, in the middle of the desert, with parents that hated each other, daddy issues, and promises of grandeur.
Then a guy who said, “screw this, I’m ditching the generational trauma,” starts trying to pull people to his side of things.
The other 2 siblings love/hate him for it.
Don’t know how that particularly adds to understanding the religions but okay.
It makes it human, and not mythical.
