Sounds like a lack of faith to me.

It doesn’t have to make sense, in fact, the less sense it makes, the better, as it just tests your faith more.

Believing something because of evidence or logic is not a demonstration of faith. The faithful believe it happened, not because of evidence, but because they were told it did and that they should be faithful to their teachings
