Bad argument. If God is omnipotent, then “easier” isn’t a concept, it has no bearing on his actions whatsoever. If he is who he says he is, then he can and will do whatever is best in light of eternity. In the case of the flood (and the entire old testament really), it’s all foreshadowing to Christ.
