They’re not going to solve anything until they lobby to have the studios relinquish control of the networks through federal intervention. You can’t have megaconglomerates control both the content and the theaters if you want to be an independent contractor and/or have the ability to shop your product to multiple networks. It also doesn’t help that broadcast, cable, and streaming channels are also allowed to be owned by the same company. It’s leaving multiple outlets to whither rather than compete.
