Bad bot.
I like to think that he forgets, keeps trying and then makes a new post about it
Check out immich, I use that self hosted and it’s exactly like Google photos. It even has optional facial recognition.

When are they going to remove this bot? Clearly it’s not liked by the majority of users that see it.
There’s no way any amount of hats they can sell would make a dent in a wasted 8 year long development that had like 700 players max. They’re even removing the merch from the store, I’d imagine the bad PR of having these things around is worse than getting the money from selling them.
Yeah their other stuff was even worse. They had a mug, a t-shirt and a hoodie. Those 3 things had cheap letters put on that looked like they would come off in a couple washes. I only got the hat because it had a patch that couldn’t wash off. It’s all very generic and low effort.
They had problems selling it on gear.playstation.com, I had to contact like 3 support people and they eventually submitted a manual order directly to the warehouse (?). They said they had an order to remove certain items from the site but it hadn’t gone through yet. They didn’t specify which items, but I’m sure you can make a good guess.
Edit: The title is just a meme, but I did legitimately buy one of these just to have a memento of the biggest flop in gaming history.
It makes me happy that I don’t even know what that means. Well, I didn’t until now.
Mine didn’t either when I lived in a dorm. I got around the network block.
Shh, humans are talking.
My substandard pizza is like $4, edible crust isn’t worth the difference when an upgrade is slightly less substandard pizza.
Mullvad even lets you send them an envelope with cash in it, with no identifying info other than your account number.
No script lets you individually allow js on certain sites, even specific sources. Block all by default, allow safe sites or temporarily allow other sites based on need. I started doing that this year and it hasn’t been nearly as much trouble as I thought it would be.
Exactly, so use Proton :P
Hey, very cool app. One thing that could be a massive improvement is the ability to tap the thumbnails in “compact mode” to open a bigger version of the image without loading the whole post. Boost (for reddit and for lemmy) has something like this (though not as snappy as I’d like), and relay for reddit had the perfect implementation of this. It was quick and easy. You tap the thumbnail to blow the image up to the max screen width, tap again to dismiss the image. Ideally there would be no lag between when you tap and when the image is loaded, same with dismissing. (I disabled double tap in relay so the image dismissal didn’t wait for a 2nd tap, making it quicker.)
Obviously this is a very nice and niche feature, so it might be outside the scope of the app. But if you find yourself itching to add some features, keep this in mind :) It would fit well with the “fast, fluid browsing” theme of the app.
I took a video to give a quick example but uploading it to lemmy.world isn’t working, I don’t want to share my youtube account, and I don’t want to make you download a random file from a file sharing site, so you can check out this behavior in those 2 apps if you need an example.
