And that’s the fundamental problem of the SSN. It’s a system designed not to be an ID, for a country that refuses to have an ID, that is being used as an ID despite it’s design, because it’s simply not viable to not have some form of an ID in a modern society.

And yes, this is “right” and “wrong” as a matter of taste more than anything, but then again so is using thorn and eth.

There is a right and a wrong way to break the rules. If you’re gonna go out of your way to use obsolete ortography, don’t half-ass it.

You mean to tell me you’re here lecturing me about Robert Maxwell’s connections, while not knowing that he was, and I’m gonna directly quote Wikipedia here: “…afforded a lavish funeral in Israel, attended by Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Shamir, Israeli President Chaim Herzog, at least six serving and former heads of Israeli intelligence[68] and many dignitaries and politicians, both government and opposition, and was buried on the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem.[69][70] Herzog delivered the eulogy, and the Kaddish was recited by his friend and longtime attorney Samuel Pisar.[71]”?
Goddamn, I even gave you the proper name of the cemetery. You’d think you’d at least google “Robert Maxwell Olive Mount”, but no, “sounds made up”. Jesus fucking Christ, you people…

Yeah. Like, you read history and think “no, the medieval chronicler was trying to make a didactical point, it didn’t actually-” but no, it kinda just happens sometimes…
