That grad hit was particularly spicy.
And always nice to see a train hit. See those less often, but they are Russia’s logistics backbone and are some of the most important targets.
Yeah, this could prove very effective. Lancets have been doing quite a bit of damage due to their longer range. If Ukraine can shoot these down reliably with such cheap munitions, it will greatly diminish Russia’s ability to hit targets behind the front.
Or Biden is showing his age and needs to let someone else take the helm. Being left doesn’t mean yes-manning everything the party does.
Toss-bombing always looks cool, but has had very little application before this war. With dumb bombs it’s inaccurate, and with precision bombs countries like America gain air supremacy and fly high and drop from level flight. The Hammer is well suited for contested environments in this war as it gives much more range when lobbed from low altitude as it’s rocket assisted.
Target selection for them will be interesting. They have a higher payload than something like a GMLRS round, so the Hammers are likely to be primarily used against buildings with troops or supplies, as we see in this video.
Is this odd? Most cars have had several recalls, and if you have never taken your car in for recall work, you need to go look up what work was (not) done on your VIN and take care of it. Lots of cars are still out there with claymores for airbags, make sure your car isn’t among them.
Thank you for the extra info. I’ll edit the title since it isn’t confirmed.
It’s good they are continuing to stamp down on corruption. It is what you want to see.
I think they got this one! Hard to tell behind the massive explosion though!
Man, no hesitation on the wounded invader. Went straight from being fine, to wanting his buddy to kill him.
Damn, how many are they getting now? There have been something like a half dozen of such announcements in the last two weeks.
It appears to be nothing more than a reckless gesture to piss off the Russians.
What is Russia going to do, invade Ukraine?
Ukraine has been firing Himars, Storm Shadows and other Western supplied weapons into Russia — primarily Belgorod and Crimea
Crimea is occupied Ukrainian territory, not Russian territory
Ukraine was not firing HIMARS-based missiles, Storm Shadows, and other Western supplied weapons into Belgorod. That is the whole policy change here. No longer is Ukraine expected to just take punches and be barred from shooting at the aggressor. Now they can use western supplied weapons to destroy Russian assets in Russia.
Note how we are talking about how large of douchebags the activists are and just how much they damaged a cultural heritage site.
Fuck these people.
Even Level 1 charging is pretty notable, means the vast majority of your daily miles still come from charging at home. This should be achievable if you have an outside plug and an outdoor extension cable.
Though, I suspect from your statement even that isn’t possible due to ownership issues.
Ah, crap, that I do. I should look at a map whenever I talk about them. It’s stored in my head in this fashion:
The fun part is Russia leads the CSTO, which is the same type of organization as NATO. However, three members have left it, including Azerbaijan Armenia just this year as Russia failed to hold up their commitment when Article 4 (equivalent to NATO’s Article 5) was called when Armenia Azerbaijan took land Russia considered Azerbaijan’s Armenia’s in late 2022.
Edit: Flipped the names. They are now correct.
Y’all remember gif sound? Had this audio playing while I watching the above video. Gave it a very ‘shit went bad 20 years ago’ feel.
Also, that thing has been burning all damn day? I saw they were putting it out with what appeared to be just water in one of the earlier videos. Guess they decided to let it burn through the entire fuel supply.
Switzerland’s arms industry is having a rough time right now. It’s the largest war in Europe since WWII and Switzerland is telling their customers their military equipment and ammo cannot be used in the war. Customers are rightfully wondering what the point of Swiss arms are if they cannot be used and are ordering from other countries instead.
Check out this chart of arms orders and deliveries for 2022-2023. Lots of small countries like South Korea are getting huge boosts in orders; Switzerland isn’t anywhere near the top. Screenshot is from Perun’s video on the change in global arms exports as a result of Russia’s invasion.
:)
I value free time very highly and a 9-5 job that doesn’t demand constant OT results in a nice work-life balance, IMO. I personally found the transition very pleasant. Main negative was getting time off for chores that must be done during work hours. But, many places are pretty chill about that.
