I still can’t believe they’ve managed to make not getting sick a political stance.

Videotron, who own Freedom/Wind now.
No. A nation that allows slavery doesn’t practice human rights. For human rights to exist they have to apply to everyone, which can’t work if some people are considered property.
No amount of gotchas, or arguing semantics is going to make slavery okay, and the way you’re replying to peoples answers makes me think you fundamentally don’t understand the question.
I threw out my shoulder trying on shirts at the store the other day…
“Democratic capitalism” is an oxymoron, as without an incredibly large number of regulations, capital will replace democracy as the primary decision maker, by design.
Irreparable harm to their bottom line, maybe.
Won’t anyone think of the shareholders?
Not a software developer, I just do QA on written documents, and being able to have 3-4 windows side by side is really nice. I usually have 1-2 tracking spreadsheets open on the left, and two documents side by side on the right. I use a laptop at work as well, so sometimes I’ll leave it’s screen on for email and Teams chat so neither interrupts my work.
I’m sure everyone will step up once there’s no Palestine left to save.
I’ll try to remember you when I don’t go into crippling financial debt for stubbing my toe.
It’s amazing that you’re allowed to just spout misinformation like this. Less educated people might believe you.
Not OP, but my most recent car is a 2016 Hyundai Accent, and I think it’s perfect. The doors and ignition operate with physical keys, the displays are all physical indicators directly behind the wheel, all the controls have tactile, physical buttons instead of a touchscreen, no infotainment system, and no subscription options.
I don’t think I’d ever want a car more “smart” than that, but I’m not sure such a thing even exists anymore.
“Hey gang!”
A city under siege with no police protection is an emergency, full stop.
It’s always the people who weren’t there who continue to push the idea that it was a peaceful protest.
No, according to the courts (one court), an emergency in one city does not meet the requirements for the Federal emergencies act, and didn’t take into account the negligence of the multiple layers of regional policing and government who refused to act.
Since Musk bought Twitter I’ve been more active on Tumblr and as long as you don’t go anywhere that takes itself too seriously, it’s actually refreshing and lovely.
Similarly, when I signed up for Bluesky I decided I’d only follow people I know IRL and artists, and to not be afraid to use the mute or block, and it’s been great. Just a steady stream of art and people discussing art.
I’ve also got Mastodon, Pillowfort, and Cohost accounts I never really use.
Now now, the cops were doing something: they tried to break up the Ottawa people at Billing’s Bridge who were preventing more trucks from getting downtown.
The cops weren’t sitting on their asses, they were complicit.
Yep! One of the worst burns I’ve ever gotten too. The potato sticks to you like glue and doesn’t come off right away.
Really sucks.
I try to be, but don’t always hit the mark.
