I find it completely discouraging for any sort of content.
Fediverse is worse than Reddit. Mod abuse, admin abuse, disinformation, and people simping for literal terrorists.

I find it generally weird that follows, likes, etc. are public. But I can’t say I understand those type of platforms anyway.
There’s one app but I don’t use it as it do not have a compact view, only cards, and that would not replace anything on the desktop either. PieFed is about as bad as Lemmy imo. There is an open feature request for this on Github though, so hopefully it’s just a matter of time.
Yes, it’s blocked pretty much since before I even switched from kbin.social to fedia.io. It does block neither the instance nor the users from there, hence why I have such a huge blocklist of communities. I block them as they pop up on my feed.
This has been discussed with the devs & admins. You’re basically just opening and blocking the domain itself. Look at the threads on that page. They are all .ml leading links, but posted in various other instances that are not actually .ml. So they’re not an accumulation of actual .ml communities and their content, but content that is posted wherever that links towards .ml. It’s like those domain filters on some websites (like Reddit IIRC) that you can click on to get a list of all submissions from that domain, like a news site for example, except only within the realms of the fediverse.
I don’t watch TV.
But happily downvoting. I hope all the terrorist simps here are happy for going after Harris, because this is the result they consequently wanted.
Already surrounding himself with loyal yay-sayers.
No, that just blocks direct links to said instances. So it basically does nothing.
Yes. But of course you have to enable and interact with the ads.
Again, thanks for proving my point. Bye.

I’m not directly comparing Nazis to vegans and you clearly not even attempting to differentiate between militant vegans and sane vegans kinda proves my point. There’s no nuance, it’s all a black and white “if you’re not one of us, you’re against us” type of mentality. If animal welfare is that important to you, then you’d at least attempt to communicate with others in a reasonable fashion instead of either trying to convert them to some sort of cult mentality or shunning them if they aren’t able or willing to do so.
Yeah, lifetime offers often come in a last ditch effort to milk customers for a dying product.
Proton already does a lot of shady marketing crap so I would be very dubious of such an offer. This may also come before they just offer those additions in the free version, since it probably does not sell well on its own.
I said “what in the actual fuck” out loud when I’ve seen that number this morning.
Contrary point of view here. I’m not vegan, not even vegetarian, but reduced my animal produce consumption a lot (not that I consumed much anyway) and am always looking for further alternatives that are possible within my personal circumstances. However, what I’ve seen on Lemmy (and other social media, such as Reddit) regarding vegans, was highly militant and toxic people who spew nonsense and hostility towards anyone who is not vegan. Generally what you’d describe as veganazi or whatever. Seeing things like that definitely does not cause me wanting to join or even lurk such communities and is really just confirming the stereotypes being shared by certain trolls.

Have a one on one with your son. He is old enough to understand how bad this would make you feel. It’s completely fine to look after your own well being first and I’m sure you two can find something else to do just on your own.
Fuck her cheating ass, figuratively.
