Now that was awesome and something I never expected. I didn’t even consider the horse. 🤣

These stories are mine.
They’re drawn from my own life, observations, and experiences.
And many times, I write of the odd way I see the world.
The language learning model (or AI as some call it) doesn’t invent the story—it simply helps me turn them into poetry.
Think of it like using a ruler. I can draw a pretty straight line by hand, but if I already know exactly where I want the line, why not use the ruler?

Thanks and I’m going to agree with you on the fresh cut tomatoes. I might be wrong, but I think they would bring the dish towards a more sour flavor.
Your recipe looks very intriguing and something we may be trying out in the near future. Thank you for sharing it as well.
Chicken 4 ounce
Red Pepper half a cup.
Garlic one clove.
Coconut milk quarter cup.
Basil and oregano 1/2 teaspoon.
White rice one cup.

1·1 month agoAwesome, the important part is it came out great!
No worries on following the exact recipe.
I do look forward to seeing the picture! If it looks better than mine did, I might be switching over to Frozen!
That’s cool.
Now it’s easier for me to answer question you originally asked. Where I come from, we called it respect.
Thanks for taking time to explain and I’m really glad you did.
That is absolutely NOT the intended perception of the word ‘respect’ I was shooting for.
What do you call it when someone you don’t know takes time out of their day to greet you, welcome you to the neighborhood, and actually listened to what you had to say? And there were three of them.
That’s the definition of respect I was shooting for.
And while it’s not mentioned in the writing because it would make it even longer than it is to find included every detail, we showed them the same respect as they told us about themselves and the neighborhood.
More importantly, what did it mean to you when you read it?
If I answer first, there’s a chance it would guide your response.
And that way I can see how close to intention I made perception.
Thanks for the kind words! She did become another perfect addition to the family.
If you enjoyed her story, the next one I post about her will be how she got her name.
Gladly!
I’m just bummed that I won’t be in the audience to see it.
Thank you!
No objection, the opposite in fact. Appreciation!
I wrote the words to share the experience.
Thanks for helping share them.
Thank you

2·1 month agoI am so glad the recipe poem brought a smile to your day! Using frozen vegetables is actually an excellent swap for canned.
Let me know how it comes out. I may have to switch over as well.
I look to AI if I can’t finish a rhyme, and absolutely in place of a dictionary and thesaurus.
Other than that, it’s on my dime.
The AI can generate descriptive text. I try to make the words and the works carry feeling.

2·2 months agoI’m glad to be here and maybe more so with the reception you’ve provided.
Sounds like I could definitely do without the .ml instance.
I looked at the wholesome and the uplifting Lemmy communities, thanks for those!
I’d love to start up one of my own! Dreaming about an 8 gig raspberry pi 5 with a nice external hard drive. One day.
I know you said it was okay to go dark. Next post I make is about as dark as I get.
It’s called “When nothing else has worked” and it’s a response to someone who left a short (suicide) note on a pole in a parking lot.
Spoiler: no tissues required.

2·2 months agoThank you kindly for the advice! I’ve added the [OC] tag.
I’m new to Lemmy, so receiving a “Wow” on my second post was awesome!
If you’re looking forward to seeing more, I hope I won’t disappoint. Most of my poems are intentionally positive. I don’t just enjoy playing with the words—I hope each work carries feelings with it.
Thanks again for the welcome!
