I was a huge fan of The No Sleep Podcast specially during the early seasons. But recently they’ve been trying so much unnecessary stuff which kind of takes away the whole fun of listening to it. They also started advertising brands after every story. Definitely recommend listening to the first few seasons though if you like horror.

Lemmy’s system is no different from Reddit’s and my original comment was sarcastic. I’ve noticed sarcastic posts without /s get downvoted more easily on Lemmy for whatever reason.

How much you make should be dependent on how much effort your job involves and how much impact it has on others.

In a fair society, a dog walker shouldn’t be getting paid the same amount as someone who’s doing a more tedious or impactful job such as a construction worker.

On the other hand, if you increase the amount of salary a person who’s doing the least amount of task get, then in return you’ll have to increase the salary of every other individual too, which will in return again increase the cost of living.

Legit can’t understand why anyone want to sit down to pee when it can be done standing up.

As for the poor aim issue, get better.

You really think 1000 (being very very generous here) people from lemmy going to r/Place to advertise is going to give a boost to Reddit’s user engagement? On the other hand 1000 people coming from Reddit to lemmy will be like a 1% boost to Lemmy.

But active shows you 2 days old posts too. On the other hand sorting by hot shows you NSFW posts or memes with 2 upvotes and 0 comments for some reason.
