    Yea the caveat is you have to enjoy being around your parents and can live with their rules.

    I agree with you, some of the most fun I’ve had in my life was living with a bunch of roommates in college. There was always something interesting going on and it made our rent comically cheap.

    The West has propagandized relying on parents because it’s good for business. Staying with your parents is one less house they can sell, one less car, one less bedroom furniture set, etc.

    You are defeating capitalist greed and helping the planet by utilizing less redundant resources like you would living seperately.






  • No disc on PC is totally different because the platform is more free. We have multiple store fronts, some are DRM free, some come with free compatability tools, we can install games free of a store, back data up to a hard drive and play that same game on a different PC all offline, we could burn our entire library to SD cards or CDs and produce our own physical media, we can use a million combinations of hardware and operating systems, etc.

    Locking out discs also hurts game stores and gives consumers worse value for money since they can’t trade in games. Super shitty when there is only one digital storefront
