  • Next stage is you’re writing your own backstory that somehow combines minis from different factions and games even.

You take care to walk a fine line to keep it cohesive and relatable.

You invest time and effort to bring it to life on the table.

You even spend hours play testing the rules and stats you wrote, with an eye on keeping things balanced.

“Nah man, let’s just play 40k as is, I mean your stuff seems weird”.

  • Welcome!

Mint is an awesome choice to start. It’s got a nice balance between slim and enough features to get you going.

Keep in mind at all times: at some point you’re gonna need that one piece of external hardware to play nice with Linux or maybe that one piece of software ain’t doing it like you’re used to.=> there is a way or an alternative. Always keep calm, research the topic, and follow instructions carefully and thoughtfully when you find a tutorial.

That aside enjoy it, a little slice of freedom away from big tech awaits.

  • Well sure, but it also says god never changes.

(Ok memeing aside: sure there’s plenty of layers and nuance to go around but that doesn’t take away that there’s still far too many people who take this book too literal, too serious and are ruining other lives by doing so. If it was treated for what it is, a piece of history, then this conversation wouldn’t be necessary)
