For a while, there was a patent on it, at least in he US. I remember having to root a Sony phone to enable the fingerprint reader on the power button about 10 years ago.

And right here, you can see the point where this poster lost any last shred of good faith.
It’s not about agreeing or not agreeing with them, it’s the fact that it’s a misleading fluff piece and you full well know it.
But you did post the dumb article. Enjoy the downcotes and a block from me
I only have marques brown’s comment to back this up, but he said the two stage camera button doesn’t do anything yet but it’s coming in a future update. I’m baffled how Apple feels okay releasing this new hardware without the software to support it.
That’s number wang!
7.0.57. I’ve had no android issues with this version. I don’t feel like I’m missing any features by refusing to update.
Meh. Nova is the best launcher in my opinion but I’ve already been version locked to the last release before this company bought it. I’ve basically given up in anyone else replicating the features I want. So I’ll be using this version of Nova until Google finally breaks it.
That’s me too. I was a family subscriber for years. Some of those years it was just myself on there too. But the price hikes and interface degrading was infuriating.
It didn’t last one afternoon on my work laptop. I went to save an attachment from a vendor and couldn’t pick the folder it saved to. They literally got rid of SAVE AS.
Fuck Microsoft.
I knew nothing of the 4th movie except that it was a prequel about Snow. Took a chance and saw it in the theater and was pleasantly surprised. Made me want to actually read the 4th book but I haven’t gotten around to it yet.
Guess I better finish it up before March.
As long as that means there’s a minimum fee that’s going to maintain the grid, I think I’m okay with electric bills not going negative.
I was worried when Germany shut down their nuclear reactors but it’s great news to hear they’re embracing solar hard
How is this not the entire topic of discussion.
We put a bed with too many cabinets at this end of the room, now what to put at the other end. I know! A toilet. Right there in the center facing the bed to help maintain eye contact!
Jebus! I scrolled past this post two days in a row. But today I thought, my morning could use the relaxing mood of some classic Ghibli.
Fuck you.
(And take your upvote)
Nova, reluctantly, lives on.
My SO hadn’t seen House so we’re doing it now. It’s going slow because while it’s a great show, it’s a little too formulaic to be binge-able. We’re in the next to last season now.
I recently finished a Frasier rewatch which actually made me realize I’m not sure I EVER finished the last season. Still a great show but I doubt I’ll watch the reboot.
I tried the “New Outlook” a few months ago. There was no longer a Save As option for attachments. All attachments were downloaded to the default downloads directory.
I immediately uninstalled and didn’t look back.
That’s the one!
