Idk if they are phased out in my country, but I have never seen people using them (only in American movies, but not irl) or even talking about them, not even in the 90s. Using them it sound so archaic and ancient

just that nobody comments or posts anything for months on end
I post regularly in some magazines, yet nobody reply or interact
The topbar has no random magazines, it always show the same magazines (but in random order), at least for me
only if the magazine rules say I have to use microblogging instead of a normal post
I have no interest in microblogging, I don’t see what’s the point of it
Nebula is the home of smart, thoughtful videos, podcasts, and classes from your favorite creators
It looks like it was not made for the type of content I created
Are real alternatives out there?
I wanted to create content in the fediverse for the fediverse, but after giving it a though uploading videos on youtube was the best option
I looked at peertube but:
-Most instances have limits
-I’d need to research who is using that instance because
-if it’s filled with tankies or other types of undesirable people some fediverse users will ask to be defederated from that troublesome instance and I’d get punished even if I did nothing wrong
In the end upload a video on youtube was the option that gives less headaches
Most of the magazines I subscribed are dead. The very few that post stuff receive no comments, I general everything is pretty dead
It can’t be worse than the experience with ads they provide
Meanwhile I did nothing and everything is working
Who needs up to date misinformation when you can create your own misinformation?
It has happened multiple times, ChatGPT referenced to fake articles that were created by itself
So more reasons to be EXTRA careful
How does this can happen?
As a driver if google tells me I should cross a bridge, but there is no bridge I look for a different route. I don’t try to cross the nonexistent birdge, that’s insane
People who blindly believe what an AI says, why?
but the lack of a mobile app
just install the website like if it were an app. it works
It’s not the second, but the third time they post this…
He announced his boycotting of X on Meta’s new platform Threads
So twitter cesspool is bad but facebook scandals are ok?
I’ve never had facebook or twitter accounts because of of this:
“intimately know your personal information”
It will be the same with AI. Dystopian megacorps should not have access to my personal information
Are people really upvoting this or are bots too?
Could we sabotage the LLM training so the data became worthless?
Like adding to our comments stuff like “2+2=5” “Abraham Lincoln discovered America” and whatever silly statement you can think of
