You can totally make programs to scrape the internet for places that have posting functionality, crawl the scraped sites, and auto post. These already exist, and you can buy them, or get them shared to you from various sources. Most of these sites use template software to run their sites. It is not nearly as difficult as people might think to accomplish this. Bot traffic is 50% of internet traffic.

Is there a group somewhere, sitting in a government facility, working on how to best infiltrate Lemmy? I really doubt it. Do these places have general function bots that make it on to lemmy, and even smaller places? Yes. In fact, bots are causing a growing number of small sites to experience what is, essentially, DOS attacks, because of how much traffic suddenly hits the site once the scrapers/auto account makers/etc. have found it.

Like facebook, twitter, and reddit, where there is a concerted effort, that has people working on how to specifically target the people on each one, and understand the differences in their use, and users? No, of course not. Are there bots spreading national, and corporate, propaganda on lemmy? Yes. They are literally everywhere you can make posts. I am willing to bet there are tiny fora out there, with like 10 users, that occasionally sees bot spam.

That solves the US, for a while. The population growth is slowing globally. When Immigrants arrive in countries who’s majority populations are in, or nearing, decline, their family size adjusts to the local average in a couple generations. Bottom line is that they need people to start making more babies, everywhere. Those at the top do not give a shit about expelling immigrants for real. Industrialists don’t care where their cheap labor comes from. However, they have entered a marriage with a highly xenophobic voter base to stay on top.

While there is anti-sexual free expression talk in the movement, once you get into the inter-personal level, especially of the followers, they only want that freedom to be the choice of men. They want to fuck as many women as possible, they want women to fuck them at their demand, no matter the relationship status, without any plans to continue with that woman in the future. They want to both hit up tinder, or the bar, or whatever, see a woman, go up to them, and get casual sex from them, without being turned down, and the barefoot, and pregnant, home maker, wife, in the house.

The bottom line is, they want women to be anything they want, when they want, without resistance. They want to OWN them, own them all. They yearn for the years of a “surplus population”, withering in work houses, and the ability to own other people, for labor, for sex, for anything they want. If something they do does not violate the ethics of “I can, and will, exercise power, over others”, then they don’t see it as hypocrisy. Whatever morals, or ethics, they claim, mean nothing, unless their proclamations means to gain, and exercise, power over others.

All of these comedians who whine about not being able to say things, and being so brave to go ahead with their bigoted material, all just wish they were Lenny Bruce. Lenny was funny, said the truth, and while some stuff wouldn’t fly today, he was very progressive for the 50’s, and early 60s. He literally had police camp out his shows to arrest him as soon as he started saying something they didn’t like. He was actually getting beat-up by police, expelled from countries, and making land mark civil rights law, because of his routines.

I have done this. I have told them not to post me shit from channels, and topics, over, and over. Best it seems it can go is like 2 months. When I tried deleting my history, and turning it off, it got SO MUCH WORSE. Even making a new account was orders of magnitude worse. As sad as it is, I am actually getting a better result… I have long been at the point where I do not click on things I am not familiar with, or without suggestion from a trusted source. So I just don’t look at recommended anymore. Just look for the indicator of new stuff from my subs, or look at things I specifically search for.

Already happening. In this region a LOT of manufacturing workers voted for him. Now most of them are looking at significant reductions in compensation because their companies are all rebudgeting to prepare for the tariff proposals the GOP has written. Now they are all mad, though I wonder how many understand that they need to be blaming who they voted for, rather than immigrants, communists, and queer people.

If he dies before they are able to really get the structural changes in P2025 off the ground, Trump’s death will likely instigate the death of the movement. If it dies after that the P2025 restructuring has happened, won’t matter.

Oh, I agree. I think the amount of energy lost, when Trump dies, will be a huge blow to the MAGA movement. Will it be a coup de grace? I fucking hope so. However, if they get their project 2025 governmental structure into place, I think it will be hard to dethrone the GOP, even without Trump. I also believe that is the true hope behind that platform. They know their cult of personality is on a timer, so they are hoping to get things set-up, where they still have complete control, regardless of how motivated the cult is.

Look up the 13th amendment, and why they had to write in an exclusionary clause to it because, even people from a time of chattel slavery practice, knew this was slavery too, and not indentured servitude, which stayed legal for decades afterwards! The factors making it slavery are quite eloquently explained, namely that indentured servitude was a contract the indentured servant had to agree to! Isn’t that neat? It wasn’t legally forced on them! Wanna know something else cool? The fact that it is a contractual agreement is STILL the definition!
