It was reported numerous times for being off topic.

Pop culture really needs it’s own community. I think it deserves to be here, but in a place people want it.

I try to let the community help decide what belongs. The more diverse the reports, the more likely it doesn’t belong. That’s why we have the “… at moderators discretion” in the rule.

Looks like about 40 more minutes

I don’t check every post in the community - not enough time in the day. If it’s reported, I review. If not, it will likely fly under the radar

It actually wasn’t the name.

They have contributed in other communities I moderate, without issue.

His soul has left, but his shite remains

The mod logs are right there.

https://a.lemmy.world/lemmy.world/u/Morganalefay@fedinsfw.app was the person doing it. There were 70 reports in mod queue.

The fact you don’t know that but are calling it BS is amazingly telling.

It was your alt account (@Don_Dickle@lemmy.world)

That’s up to the mods here, not me. I jumped in to clean it up (nazi postings were rampant), then find volunteers to take over.

I was top mod for less than an hour before I found suitable replacements.

full transparency - I advised them you might not be a good fit, as you didn’t moderate when you were a mod of this community.

I’m no longer a mod here, but you were a mod here. I removed you along with the others, due to lack of moderation.

3 years and 0 mod actions. Also read through you post history. Amazingly positive person. You would be perfect for top mod. I’ll give others a chance to respond, so don’t expect anything just yet.

Pretty solid history! I’ve asked other mods to weigh in, but you’re definitely on the short list. Once I have found new mods, I’ll be dipping. I just wanted to help clean it up until we could find people who would take over.

You’re a doctor AND work at a tobacco shop? That’s pretty cool!

I own my messages. I never said I disagreed with what I said. Merely that my moderation was incorrect.

This was out first interaction.

I think I may have jumped the gun, so I’ll unban.

I don’t explain my moderation approach, less bad actors leverage that knowledge, but suffice to say, account age and cadence is the reports played a role.

I try not to be a PTB.

I know at times I can be snarky, but at times it can come off crass.

With that said, I’d never ban for you airing grievances.

This was will written, and kept to facts as you see them.

I will add that you’ve been polite, and nice dealing with.

I won’t defend my action until others tell me I should.

Holy PTB, Batman

I assumed you were downvoting them left, right, center, up, down, and sideways. Yeah. You downvoted them one time, at 2:35AM (not sure which timezone). You received your “automated ban” 1 hour and ~15 minutes later.

Hell, looking at ALL your voting, you seem more reliable of a voter than I am.

This is petty-level power tripping.

You sure about that?

Oh boy I can’t wait to play the new Duke Nukem: My Little Pony game

You really sure about that?

Woke slop written by soylennial Harris voters

You really really sure about that?

Don’t have to imagine it this shit is cringe and this game won’t sell because of it. Keep beating the dead horse tho

You REALLY REALLY sure about that?

I am a mod in that community, but it wasn’t me who took action on you. I wish it were. You’re a sad, angry boy.
