I am waiting on the release of the Volla Phone Plinius. Gonna get the one with ubuntu touch. TBH the only reason for that, is that I really lioe how it looks. I don’t really enjoy the look of the Jolla with the notch and the huge bottom bezel. But I am just nitpicky. They both don’t use the mainline linux kernel. But maybe if enough people switch, hardware manufacturers will be forced to provide mainline linux firmware instead of OEMs having to create their own custom linux kernel.

I haven’t personally yet, but a lot of people suggest switching to LibreWolf on PC and to either Fennec or Waterfox on mobile. At least on Android, since I can’t be bothered to look up the availability on iOS.

Friend of mine has an alias for sudo named fucking and with some ZSH scripting (or whatever your preferred shell is) he also made ffs to execute sudo !!.

If I could make a suggestion, try already swapping to FOSS while ok windows to make the transition to linux easier on yourself. That is what I did, and it did wonders to help me become better acclimated to Linux.

You could also see if you can run DAW on a VM in Linux or see if your software is supported with WINE. That way you could potentially just run the windows application in Linux without a VM. Most of the time, a “Silver” rating is enough, but a “Gold” rating or above is recommended.
