Debian Testing. It isn’t “recommended” but it works fine.
Obviously if you want AUR you need an Arch variant, in which case just pick Arch.
Edit: I needed the why, it’s up to date enough for me and I know apt well.

Scarlett could be in, and I mean this literally, any film she wants to be in. Why would she pick the 7th film in the franchise? Obviously it’s easy money, so I guess that’s the answer, but it’s such a weird choice.
Dinosaurs are cool, so I guess.
Exactly. The Ministry of Truth says _________ (fill in the blank as needed.)
It will sound like a government agency is providing recommendations, but in truth it’s whatever Elon says.
It won’t have government employees or have to follow government rules. It’s just an expensive government contractor with no rules. It won’t have to prove itself. Just “the algorithm” that has the answer to any problem. How did it arrive at that answer? Difficult to say, it’s proprietary. Assuming any accountability, it won’t be uncovered until years after the decision has already been made.
We also have the hanging Namor storyline. Is there someone Namor could be fighting that requires teaming up with Wakanda? Or someone Wakanda could be fighting that requires teaming up with Namor?
Right now the two nations are at peace, but only barely.
If someone can cause problems for them both it’s a good reason to have them form a more permanent union. Depending how Captain America: Brave New World goes, since it seems to have a focus on the Celestial in the ocean, that might give them something in common to look at. Namor focused on the ocean, and Wakanda focused on Vibranium vs Adamantium.
Adding to that I think a future T’Challa/Killmonger being seen as a leader, but providing the wrong message could be interesting. Maybe they’ve already been through this storyline, but made the wrong choice. Not to say they made the story choice, just one that doesn’t work in this universe. Assuming the wrong thing. Or going down a track that only leads to a poor victory.
Sure, we’re getting Blade someday. But are we getting Mahershala Ali as Blade? I’m confident they can find someone to play Blade and that person will do great. But Mahershala Ali is who I want to see and I don’t know how long he’ll wait around.
It looks like Denzel is getting ready to retire, so a villain role makes more sense.
Also after Secret Wars they can probably just have any character appear, trying to figure out where they fit in.
He could also show up as an old man Black Panther, either T’Challa or reformed Killmonger, depending on the story they want to tell.
Trump will just take no responsibility. He’ll blame RFK Jr for all the things that go wrong. Maybe he’ll eventually get fired but at that point the damage will already be done. Trump will just say “Ah, he screwed me, I would have done the exact same thing but it would have worked, I’m a smart guy, I’ll fix it or appoint someone else to fix it.” And then it won’t be fixed.
So if RFK Jr. is smart he’ll just do a little bit of damage over time. Alternatively if there is a ton of chaos on day 1, then just add to the chaos. People can only be angry at so many things at one time.
I agree. The overarching plot from season 1 worked well, but season 2 just couldn’t put it together. I’m not even sure the show needs an overarching plot. This season it looks like we’re going to meet other watchers so I’ll be curious to see how that works.
I’m bummed this is the last season, but I also expect it to come back in a few years. It has so much potential, for example as shown in this trailer, mutants like STORM!
Is it possible? Sure.
Bruce Wayne is in The Joker as a 10 year old kid, and Bruce Wayne is in The Batman as a 30 year old adult. A 20 year time jump allows for a lot of things to happen. Any inconsistencies can just be explained away over the 20 year gap.
In fact since Arthur Fleck is killed at the end of Joker 2, and a new Joker takes his place, it’s reasonable to say that the Joker we meet in The Batman is just another iteration of the Joker.
This looks to be a dupe of https://lemmy.world/post/21836890
- The sole or primary purpose of the service is to enable online social interaction between two or more end users;
- The service allows end users to link to, or interact with, some or all of the other end users;
The first two rules basically just mean no one can interact. A version of YouTube could exist within these rules.
- The service allows end users to post material on the service.
So that’s basically the Internet. You can’t visit Rotten Tomatoes for film reviews. Maybe you only show the critics score. But aren’t they also end users? How about a newspaper? Newspaper has an opinion section. How many opinion writers can you have?

I don’t see Fisk running for President in the MCU anytime soon. Obviously the position is currently taken by President Thaddeus Ross, so pending Brave New World to see if there is a vacancy/need for a challenger. Plus Fisk has to run for Mayor first and be publicly successful.
I guess I gotta give Hawkeye another watch, I forgot most of that. I suppose it is nearly the season for it.
Also, when do we get to see Kingpin running for president?
If by President you mean mayor of NYC, based on Echo, it looks like next time we see him which means Daredevil: Born Again.
“check to see if the information is accurate” is better advice.
This is just great general advice for anything you read or post online. A misinformation tweet on Monday, spreads like wildfire on Tuesday, is looked at by professionals on Wednesday, a reasonable take or correction appears Thursday, and by Friday the only thing anyone remembers is the lie.
I’m reminded of “This Video Will Make You Angry” by CGP Grey, https://youtu.be/rE3j_RHkqJc
But you don’t get likes or whatever by taking time to write out a well thought out opinion.
Val telling Yelena about Barton still doesn’t make sense to me. Maybe Val and Barton have some bad blood between them? Maybe Val tried to put together an Avengers team during the snap and it all went to shit? Tony left or couldn’t work with Cap. Barton went off to become Ronin. It all fell apart and Natasha had to take over.
Recruiting Walker makes sense. He’s a good soldier. He isn’t a good Captain America, but he’s a good soldier.
The most likely scenario is Trump/Vance are still selected by the Electoral College but on election day Vance is sworn in as President, without a Vice President. Vance then goes through the standard process (Senate approval) to select a Vice President.
Technically it is possible for the Electoral College to select Vance and whomever Vance selects as VP. Since Republicans (will) have control of the Senate the odds of this scenario is slightly increased just to save everyone time. However given the various Electoral College deadlines and the fact that Vance would likely want time to select a VP, this option isn’t likely.
Now if Trump had died 4 weeks before election day and Vance had clearly selected a new VP already, then the second scenario is more likely.
Val buying Stark Tower is fun. I wonder if Thunderbolts will get a ________ Avengers name by the end of the film.
Honestly it’s not just artists. Most people aren’t working their dream job. I’m doesn’t mean you don’t like your job, but if your dream job paid more, or had more availability, or more security, or whatever it is you’d probably be doing that. Luckily actors typically only have a given job for a few months a year, so they have more flexibility (which is also a risk if you don’t have steady work.)
