I’m just not buying across millions of users, there exists a combination of ethical pattern matching (e.g. subs, comment patterns, online timing, etc). to reliably identify a single human behind multiple accounts. We’re not that unique.
It’s 100% IP and cookie based. Each of which can be circumvented without too much issue.

The fact that Reddit allowed for the ‘ban users if they comment in another sub’ thing to exist is another sign that owners have lost their fucking minds.

It’s always bothered me how incel’s are discussed when really, the group they are referencing are often sexually active but just deeply misogynistic. Meanwhile many people who are closer to the ‘forever alone’ crowd deserve genuine sympathy. Being lonely sucks, and being unable to ‘obtain’ a partner is lonely.
Beyond that - some people will just throw out ‘incel’ as a catch all for “took issue with any pro-woman or pro-lgbt statement”.

The first time had enough plausible deniability that he meant it in a “See what happens” type of way.
I still think that is the most reasonable interpretation of his statements but he’s intentionally playing into the media to keep the debate going. Letting people hear what they want to hear; Those that want to believe he meant the bad version (either because they like the message; or want to be mad about it) will hear that way. Those that want to believe he meant the innocent version will believe that.

GPT is basically a machine that builds machines.
We understand how the machine builder works. We don’t understand how the output of the machine works. Like mechanically we understand each individual sub-component works e.g. a single matrix multiplication, but we don’t understand why specific weights are the value they are, or the broader macrostructure.
I don’t think you realize that acting like “No we actually do understand how it works” just reveals that you don’t understand the question, it does not show that the question has an answer.
Please explain what this one specific weight is, and why that value shouldn’t be higher or lower.
The fundamentals get worse and worse the closer you look.
Like for example, so much of their opex is filed under capex. Graphic cards & related assets degrade over time but are often listed as one time purchases, compute time is often evaluated as one time expenses but the models need to be retrained to improve over time, etc.
