“Don’t blame the voters who elected the president” is the sort of argument I’d expect from someone intentionally ignoring that he bombed nuclear sites.

My wife was admitted to hospital days before the election, but voted anyway because absentee voting is a thing, and something one would assume a voter would look into after being denied the right to vote once before.

By knowing any of his history? Like, we knew who he was associating with. The people who wrote project 2025 were clear on what they wanted to do. We knew from the previous administration that he would target racial minorities and anyone lgbtq+. He showed last administration that he was basically in bed with Israel, so we knew he would be worse for Gaza.
Anyone actually informing themselves about him would know his horrible past and that he would have been more deadly.

Has it ever crossed anyone’s mind, that those of that didn’t vote, was usually because we didn’t approve of either candidate?
Life is full of decisions that seemingly only have bad options, but one option was clearly drastically worse than the other.
Not voting because you don’t like either candidate despite knowing that one is a crypto fascist with the intention to burn things down is childish and, IMO, means you don’t get to say you’re not responsible for trump.
Your choice in the election is a contributing factor, you don’t get a pass because you sat out. By not voting, you tacitly endorsed trump. It sucks to hear that put in your face, but that’s the same message I had to learn after 2016. I know you won’t like the message here, but I hope you take the lesson to heart and vote for the less awful candidates (assuming we get to have elections again) instead of taking your ball, going home, and letting a Nazi take power.
I hate that 2/3 of my fellow citizens support this, either directly or or tacitly by choosing not to vote.
I really hope the protest/non voters are happy with the outcome they chose. I can’t wait to hear them tell me that Harris would have done this too! Anything to justify intentionally causing the suffering of more people…

It’s honestly kinda awful. I’ve been trying to use it a bit to help speed up some of my projects at work, and it’s a crapshoot how well it helps. Some days I can give it the function I’m writing with an explanation of purpose and error output and it helps me fix it in 5 minutes. Other days I spend an hour endlessly iterating through asinine replies that get me no where (like when I tried to use it to help figure out a bit very well documented API, had it correct me and use a different method/endpoint until it gave up and went back to my way that didn’t even work! I ended up just hacking together a workaround that got it done in the most annoying way possible, but it accomplished the task so WTFE)

Was on a road trip to South Dakota with my (now) wife’s family, and her father had just planned on stopping wherever on the trip rather than planning stops (which is probably better considering there were 3 adults taking care of 5 kids from 8 to 16 and we were an…interesting set (all ADHD, most with (un)diagnosed autism). We stopped at some motel 8 style place kinda late and just wanted to get some sleep so we could get on the road and to our cabin destination. We ended up having to stay there, but it sketch as all hell.
Man, those rooms were awful. The room was musty AF, and I remember not taking my shoes off because the carpet felt spongy. The beds were rock hard and the sheets under the duvet were polka dot look white sheets. I didn’t even undress and made sure to change my clothes before getting back in the van the next day.
Other than that, it was a lovely trip. It even led to a moment that my wife will never be able to live down with her family, and still comes up pretty regularly when we talk to her family.
I had a similar thought years ago, so if anything happens, I’ll end up with a reverse Hitler.

Agreed, but I recently found something almost as good as fresh without the storage issues. My friend introduced me to total lemon (not an ad), and it’s great! It’s like crystalized lemons, and immediately comes to life in liquid. I’ve been adding it to my fish instead of cutting up lemons and hoping I use it all, and I love it!
