One of the better episodes with a brand new doctor.
I haven’t heard that report, but I’d guess it’s the Russians that are reporting that. Now why would they have an incentive to say that? ;)
The US and Turkey support different factions in the Syrian civil war. This video from Real Life Lore goes in depth with Turkey’s position in NATO, and IIRC it does mention about Syria:
A U.S. F-16 fighter jet shot down an armed Turkish drone that was operating near American troops in Syria Thursday after several warnings, according to U.S. officials.
The shootdown came after repeated communications to stay away from U.S. ground troops near al Hasakah, in northeastern Syria.
I try to say it when I have something to say though. I didn’t always bother on Reddit.
In Danish, “bor” only refers the drill bit. If you asked someone “kan du række mig boret” you would be handed the drill bit, or possibly be pointed towards the table (bord/bordet, with silent d).
In denmark we call it a “boremaskine”, literally “drilling machine”…
Pixel 6 with Firefox. I use the default os, as the Danish ID isn’t supported on rooted devices, and you pretty much need it for everything.
I know. That is partly why I don’t intend to buy one before they support the EU.
I am not in the market for a new laptop at the moment, but my next one is very likely to be a Framework. At least if they decide to add Nordic keyboard and support shipping to Denmark.
As for you last question: Search for HDMI over Ethernet.
Vanced is advanced with ‘ad’ removed btw.
Maybe obvious, but have you tried to talk to the neighbor?
In my previous apartment I had a shitty door that was hard to close without slamming it, and I didn’t realize how much it disrupted my neighbors when I slammed it to close it. Instead I started to turn the lock while closing it, which worked perfectly.
Giving concessions to Hitler didn’t help. It won’t help for Putler either.
My coffee should be made from hot water and coffee beans. Nothing more or less.
In Denmark we say “prosit”, Latin for “may it help”. The funny thing is that in German they use prosit for “cheers”.
Not judging (okay maybe a bit 😉), but how much clothing do you have in your wardrobe if that it necessary?
Sync for Lemmy. I was looking forward for the app, but the subscription to remove ads made me stick with Connect instead.
