I stop reading your “article” when I see “formerly known a Twitter”. It’s been years, EVERYONE FUCKIN KNOWS

Your pop has a lot to learn. Freakin hilarious.

The vast majority of people couldn’t just live off basic income. Maybe a single person, no kids, no drinking, no house, no car, and living very frugality might be able to not work.

I have two strong opinions about basic income.
I’ll be retired and collecting a government cheque lot before we get it in Canada.
I am 100% behind a basic income.

I gave up watching Rober when he proclaimed he loves his Tesla and will buy another one. This is was said well after Musk went full Nazi dirtbag. Rober has enough money to buy another electric, he doesn’t have to support that man.

Auto repair isn’t my thing but it’s good to know there are still quality channels out there. Thanks.

I looked at her channel. Judging from the thumbnails it seems to be a lot of politics and “the sky is falling” content. She used to be about bushcraft.

I find most channels will degrade once the creator makes Youtube their full-time job. Afterwards, it’s all about selling products, donations, sponsors, and memberships.
Survival Lilly and SirSic and two channels that come to mind.

They also have something they call a “2fa grid”. Its a picture they send out once a year to citizens with 12 groups of 3 letters. They ask me to enter the letters from three of the boxes. Not an industry standard method for sure. Signing into the portal is probably the most difficult of all my accounts.

2FA isn’t an option for my income tax portal but would be a safer option.
Aliases are used so I never share my actual email address. If any service I sign up with starts spamming, I know that email has been compromised (probably in a breach) or the service spams their users.
Security is very easy for me. Password managers are the norm among the privacy/security community.

Security questions. For me to log into my income tax portal, I need to answer 1 of 5 questions. None of the answers to their questions are something that can be looked up in breach data - for example “Name your first love” my answer could be “the moon”. I log into this once a year so forgetting my fake answers is a real possibility.
Medical information about my family such as current prescriptions and allergies.
My password manager also can create email aliases.
Basically, anything that needs to be kept secure, private, and accessible.

I have a data-only sim, otherwise no sim for phone calls. My phone stays in airplane mode nearly always. I use voip to make and receive calls when wifi is an option. Most voip providers, afaik, are not privacy respecting including the one I use. Planning on switching to jmpchat someday which is all about privacy.

For frequently accessed sites that will work but what about a site that is only needed once a year? Password managers secure a lot more than passwords.

In 2020 System1 bought Waterfox, the same company with a controlling interesting in Startpage.
In 2023 Waterfox became independent from System1.
According to their Wikipedia page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/System1

Where are the password managers? When changing your accounts to another email provider, this is a really good time to also make sure all the accounts have a strong, unique password or phrase.

I noticed nel0x started releases on their Github.
Currently, I’m undecided about waiting for a F-Droid repo or just install via apk from Github and get update notices through rss.

researchxxl’s account is 3 weeks old so I have doubts if you have been using their app for months.

The critter thinks of itself as a statue that should be in a museum.
As for what is funny about it, I have no idea.
