You don’t always have to go out for lunch. Make sandwiches from supermarket ingredients. Buy a short serated knife (life the victorinox) with the round tip. You can cut bread, meat, veg AND you can butter said bread with it. Best freaken travel accessory! Make epic sandwiches in your hotel room and save money when you’re out during the day. We did this in Spain and Portugal and saved a tonne. Free hotel breakfast, cheap super market lunch, “fancy” restaurant dinner. I mean, come on!
Their shoddy build quality and the rise of electric cars from old school car companies could kill them very quickly. I don’t think Europe amd Asia have as much of an affinity to Tesla as America does.
Sure. But ownership comes with certain rights by definition. If you don’t have those rights, you don’t really own the thing. You’re just paying to subscribe to their club.
Family means nothing to this guy.
Cloth nappies/diapers. Cleaning them is a black hole for personal time.
OMG, I loved you in Catch Me if You Can!
OBS for screen recording.
That’s a great way to look at it.
Yeah, 10 part mini series! Could be amazing.
World War Z. Not a classic book, but still…Wtf.
Did…did he just invent the vacation?
That’s fair. Let’s rather go with a music platform. That has everything.
It’s like listening to the best band in your town and then comparing it to the music at the top of the global charts. The pure scale means you’re gonna get better bands if you include “everyone”. But I totally also hope Lemmy gets bigger. As a platform it isn’t inferior in terms of UX. We just need everyone to switch.
I never got into DDG because Google was legitimately better. It seems that is no longer the case and I’m finding no reason to use it instead anymore.
Happy. The only issue I have is scale. IMO there was nothing ground breaking about Reddit as either an idea or a piece of tech, it’s value mostly comes from its users. Lemmy does not have the sheer breadth from scale that I enjoyed with Reddit, but hopefully that will come.
Fuuyoooh
We can’t have lab meat because then it would make farming redundent. But then where would we get our foo…oh wait, never mind.
