Does a visual novel count? If so I’m playing the english release of Fate Stay Night and really enjoying it.

I set up Lubuntu for my mom on an old laptop because it couldn’t handle mint. She liked that it felt new and familiar enough, but she didn’t love it enough to not go back to Windows when she got newer more powerful laptop.
To echo what a lot of people are saying, just go for it with confidence (which is easier said than done, I know.) “Hey, I think we would be a good couple and I was wondering if you wanted to go out sometimes.” And if they no with same confidence (or fake it) “I’m so sorry, i must have misread the situation. Don’t worry, you don’t have have to be awkward around me.”. And that’ll take the pressure off of both of you so it’s not weird
That we’re smug knowitalls that just goes around looking for logical debates.
Besides physical violence, the most absurd thing I’ve seen was a man who bought a car after his wife pleaded not to because it would bankrupt them. He didn’t like that she was “telling him what to do.” They had two perfectly fine vehicles btw.
Losing gives you a chance to practice being happy for someone else. Remember board games especially are an excuse for you and a bunch of people you like to sit at a table and do something fun. If you can’t find joy in simply playing a game, just take a moment to appreciate the joy and excitement of the people around you.
I use Void Linux. I switched from Arch btw because I liked their package manager, was curious about their init system runit, and still wanted a rolling release. I’ve used it for a little over a year now and overall I’ve been happy.
Thanks for the clarity
These people sound exhausting
I tried DOTA once. Once was enough.
I can’t n get into rhythm games but I just don’t think I found the right one. I am sure there is a rhythm game out there that will blow me away.
Oh neat! Is that like Kaizo Mario?
I’m in the same boat. I had a PS1 when I was a kid and didn’t rediscover video games until a few years ago in my early 30s. I definitely appreciate games more as a form of self expression as an adult.
What’s smurfing?
Not every game is for everyone, and that’s okay!
Ooh! And Chad’s other podcast Games of Roses is great too! Completely changed at how I look at the bachelor.
Judge John Hodgman. It’s about people with silly disputes, and John and his bailiff Jesse Thorn way in on them. What’s great is even though the disputes are silly, they both come at the cases with such thoughtfulness and empathy, listening to the show will make you a better and kinder person. Also sometimes Jean Grae guests bailiff’s and she is amazing too.
Mussels. They are cheaper than clams, easy to cook, can taste just as good, and easy to make fancy.
Matthew McFadyen is a better Mr. Darcy than Colin Firth.
Without. Eroge is not my thing.
