The area is known to be inhabited by wolves, who are likely suspects. If the death of the horses occured it was due to negligence, which is due to Van Helsing not my clients. In fact it would be in their rights to dispose of the trespassing horses anyway as caretakers of the County in Count Dracula’s absence, although they are invoking their right to silence in this matter.

As far as their hostile utterances towards the male intruder found in their bedchamber, these were not acted upon and thus must be considered impassioned statements, an emotional expression of their dismay at the illegal and remorseless violation of their privacy.
