Snaps are crap. Not using them is one of the main reasons I’m considering switching to Mint

Hopefully it’s better than Snyder’s lousy attempt was
Oh yeah. I remember this episode of Mr. Robot
Freddy Got Fingered. One of the only movies I’ve ever walked out on
Looks like Loops.video is here as the answer to my question https://mastodon.social/@pixelfed/112104876275341474
Do we have a Fediverse alternative ready to step in if they do?
Love his vids when they pop up. He always makes me think of Cereal Killer from Hackers with the glasses and everything
I’m more pissed about all the content that was already published on HBO Max that he blackholed after the merger. But the almost released stuff is idiotic too
Shit. I misread. OP’s image is for the whole fediverse… 🤦♂️
But still…no way that’s active users
Although FediDB claims we have about 418k active
Nope, that’s gotta just be registered users. We’re kidding ourselves and don’t even have 200k active users
*update: this is just Lemmy users, but OP was talking about all of the fediverse *
Firefox needs to ship with IPFS & IPNS built in, then we’d have a Distributed web. Which is I think what you’re asking for maybe?
Didn’t the Biden administration instate something a few months ago that if a business retaliates or tries to prevent unionization the union gets automatically created?
The dude clearly does not live in reality
I certainly have no interest in buying one as long as he’s still involved
Fire Water Burn (the roof is on fire) was the first one I remember hearing a bunch
This song was a phenomena back when it came out. I was in highschool, saw it on Mtv one night. Told a few friends about the next day, but no one had heard of yet. About a week later, it was everywhere. Heard it played or referenced repeatedly for a while. Then one day it just faded away…
Copyright was never meant to be used how it is today. It was specifically made to protect small creators from having big companies come in and rip them off. Companies were never meant to be the beneficiaries. But lot of lobbying plus corporations are people too bullshit changed that.
Copyright is meant to last roughly the lifetime of the artist, but organizations can live forever. And then nothing ever goes in the public domain, a shared culture dissolves in to nothingness.
So we need git add .
&& git commit -a
here really
I thought this was going to be about setting up packet radio and making offline backups of Wikipedia, for when the world tears itself apart less than a year from now 😓
