I’m sure he would have been good but I appreciate him opting out for artistic reasons if that is what happened.
Those who are interested in the show may want to consider tracking down the David Mack comic run where the character made its debut. It has great art and character-driven writing, https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/139996.Daredevil_Vol_8.
You sir, win the internet today AND tomorrow as far as I’m concerned. 👊🏻🎃
Haha! That’s great. I hadn’t seen it yet.
A bigger pull week for me— Green Arrow, Flash, Captain America, Giant Robot Hellboy, Predator vs Wolverine, and Mighty Thor
I was in the 90s and am again with the Taylor & Redondo run. I plan on picking that Dan Mora cover up. FYI if you weren’t already aware of it, !nightwing@lemmy.world.
Thanks for sharing! Looks like there is a cool Donatello one as well, https://piped.video/watch?v=f41JcPyNLTM.
I think that is correct. I think my main adjustment with the new movie is the take on Splinter. They really upped his goofiness. Hopefully he is more well rounded in the sequel vs Shredder. My favorite Splinter is in the OG movies and IDW comics.
Immortal Thor and the new Cap run are solid options for series that just started. Predator/Wolverine just started as well and may interest you. Batman: Gargoyle of Gotham just started and should be four issues. Transformers from Skybound, Justice League vs Godzilla vs Kong, and Giant Robot Hellboy also come out next month.
I thought issue #1 of this series was a great gritty story with plenty of contemporary commentary. Worth picking up for those that like a darker take on the character.
I am also enjoying Superman Lost. Did anyone else pick up Batman: Gargoyle of Gotham?
I started collecting comics from the spin rack at the grocery store in the 90s. I was mostly reading Spider-Man and X-Men. I got back into comics in college since I lived close to a comic store. The Bendis/Maleev Daredevil run and the Loeb/Lee Hish run got me back into comics for a few years. I got back into comics years later with Saga and I am still collecting.

Hellboy is great! One of the peaks of the medium.
Thanks for sharing that! And a private Piped video at that. You get a 🫡 .
I understand your comment but it is just a hypothetical question sans need. :)
There are reputable studies out there that can answer your question.
Good point. Well-maintained ‘02 Honda CR-V here with 186k miles. I bike to work when weather and climate conditions allow which is most days May–November where I live. We got a second hand Tesla last year because my wife commutes a lot for work. With the latest news, I may try and hold onto the CR-V for even longer than next 2–3 years.
If it works for someone’s specific case than this is most certainly the way. 👊🏻
Try it now. It should work.
