Yeah and while he’s probably not enough of a progressive, he also might not be bothering with the billionaire tax because the billionaires would all just fly off Hawaii or Nevada or Jackson Hole or wherever to avoid paying it anyway.
It needs to be nationwide, but Newsom probably wouldn’t do that as president either. Too many billionaire pals and donors.
3·4 days agoYeah the dynamic range on all the CGI additions is really off and ruins the dusty atmosphere that the original film had.
We didn’t need all those huge animals in a place where they have to collect moisture to survive either. It was better sparse.

In which case it would all be falling to earth.
Either that or it’s all moving at the same orbital speed at the launching ship and the ship is actually spiraling out from the planet, not launching directly into deep space.
