7 days agoAh, fair point. But these aren’t searchable. You can create them and explicitly share them, but Letterboxd let’s you search by list title or list content, a key missing feature here. :/

Yep. I have an instance I self-host to power a “cookbooks -> scanner -> images -> OCR -> indexed search” tool I built for myself. The whole thing is pretty much just a few bash scripts thinly wired into a Meilisearch instance, but the utility is helpful when looking for a recipe from my collection.
12·7 months agoA problem I find is that cars are increasingly visible with their brighter and brighter headlights, but that means pedestrians are much harder to see after you’ve been blinded.
I’m unclear how aiming solves the issue of a car with ungodly bright headlights going over a speed bump and blinding me.
2·7 months agoI use it with Grafana. No need to run it all the time especially when it uses CPU while idle.

As a counterpoint to no proxmox, I get a lot of utility in being able to entirely destroy and reprovision VMs. I get it adds a layer of complexity, but it’s not without its merits!
With respect to the media, you can mount the volume as read only, preventing Jellyfin from accidentally wiping your underlying content.
I just ran into this last night and discovered the solution as well. Unclear why they chose this migration behaviour!
Preventing this oscillation between governments in power is a strong argument in favour of proportional representation. I would far rather have slow shifts in minority governments where we can actually plan and accomplish infrastructure projects instead of this wild “we abandon what the last government didn’t have time to complete” seesaw.
My Steam Deck convinced me to try Linux (Debian) a try for desktop gaming. So long as you install the latest GPU drivers, it’s smooth as butter. I guess what I’m saying is Linux for everything at this point… for those capable of installing drivers from the CLI.
35·2 years agoIf the camera really does need to be that thick for lens reasons, couldn’t we at least make the rest of the body bigger with more battery?
Not to belabour the point, but open in what way? There’s no bulk data snapshots for download, the site code isn’t available. It’s owned by TiVo.
