Ah okay, thanks!
Just a dood or likes reading and chatting about computers

Ah okay, thanks!

Huh what about nazis? I knew Linus had a lot of money invested

Super Twitter-like got ya response.
Researching what? Engaging what? What aspect of this has to do with Linux?
Why’re you wording this as if the act of using Linux is what’s addictive? Lol
looks like that mp5 cs skin

Nice site but it seems wildly unorganized. There seems to be zero standard for tagging software and the language used in reviews is not objective. Lot’s of uses of appears rather than is. Ie Obsidian appears non-FOSS, it isn’t!

will never get why not just use Fedora

This is so funny to me. I really like deepseek and rarely encounter censorship because of my research focus but when I do it’s goofy. In my experience it will produce the actual answer then delete itself when it gets to the end. Funny to me because I read the response as it was produced then it gaslit me that it didn’t write it.

Constantly removing posts with zero communication on why

Meh, I disagree. I had many posts removed about running vpns on my servers for external access or similar topics that isn’t a “selfhosted” softwared but runs on the damn server.

It’s pretty common line, I’d say much less so IRL, we all got to learn it somewhere :) Yes, I did not mean the evil corpo

They were a mod and frequently removed my posts, on another account, without any reason. Always was for rule three. I love selfhosting, I was trying to ditch reddit for here and they consistently killed the vibe.

Will never understand such lines of thinking

Ugly and small, cool idea tho

Well written response, don’t know why you are downvoted. Makes me think back to a philosophy class where I questions if we are more than a machine that is able to product certain formulations or responses based on how our brains are set and the relevant input. For instance based on context it’s very easy for me to guess what my partner is thinking. For myself, where do my thoughts come from? Can I think a truly random thought? I’ve no idea and I think not. How is that different than ai? Because I have built neuron connects forming this framework that is my mind and allow my ideas to be formed unlike just randomly guessing. On the flip side, as an academic am I not just making an educated guess every time I think?

This is 95% more information than you can consume or find useful. I cannot get these type of homepages except to have done a thing and feel happy about it. My “homepage” is a link to all my services, but I rarely use it because of that thing in between my ears that allows me to remember what service I want to use.
I don’t think there is a file in my Firefox directory that is Google.com but I get your point, that’s cache tho.
One are you a researcher or just Wikipedia-ing things? Two again you’ve provided no examples of how Linux makes this better in any way. Three you just have a computer addiction and are blaming it on an OS
