Republicans have absolutely no clue how the past few months damaged America’s reputation in the world. Especially in Arabic countries and Europe the trust in America has gone from an already low level to absolute zero. Every country which isn’t absolutely braindead tries to cut ties with the US as fast as possible. This is a loss of soft power which made the US dominate the world and might never be repairable even with a sane president. America’s decline is accelerating because of that down the line, long after Trump has left this world.
