As long as it isn’t “carrier locked”, you should be good to go. The thing about Pixels, is that they allow you to unlock the bootloader (and critically, for Graphene, relock it).

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What lyric has stood the test of time for you?
1·8 days ago“At night all the ancients, and the superhuman crew, come out and round up everyone, who knows more than they do.”
“Goddam, well I declare, have you seen the like? Their walls are built of cannonballs, their motto is don’t tread on me.”
“I don’t know, but I’ve been told that it’s hard to run with the weight of gold. Other times I’ve heard it said, that it’s just as hard with the weight of lead. One way or another, something’s got to give. One way or another, this darkness got to give.”

This dude also has some solid videos on flock (and other things). Everyone should know that cities and towns are kicking flock out left and right. Use this momentum to organize against them in your town too!

THE POLICE PROBLEM@lemmy.world•Fascist paramilitary invaders break into a home without any warrant and assault the occupants (San Antonio, TX, Feb 05, 2026)English
3·8 days agoIt’s hard to say exactly what would have happened, but there absolutely would have been several effects. A lot of the bravado you see from these pigs is because they don’t really fear any kind of consequence. Imagine the resources necessary to do what they are doing now, but for them to still feel safe in an atmosphere where armed resistance is likely.

7·8 days agoHomie, it’s a feature of the police, not a bug. There’s a saying: “the purpose of a system is what it does.” This is why calls for ‘reform’ are futile. Only broken systems need repairing. This one is functioning as it was always intended to.

Linux@lemmy.ml•Why is Debian always left out of the distro recommendations?
1·10 days agoI think it’s a bit boring. It’s fantastic for servers, and as a base for other distros. I did recently try it after using Mint for years (LMDE recently). I even used it with the Cinnamon DE I’m used to, and I just found it lacked some polish or something. Little niceties here and there. That’s it really. Minor drawbacks, and no advantage to me over LMDE, so that’s what I’m back to.
