They can train AI on the entire internet and all it’s copyrighted content, that’s no problem they say. But we train AI on copyrighted code and it’s different? Yeah seems like something they’d cry foul about.

It works a little different on Android, but you can still chain OpenVPN, Wireguard, and TOR all at the same time, caveat is your apps have to support a proxy setting. Use firewall permit only localhost connections.
Or if you have a server somewhere, set that up to do the chaining and have your mobile connect to that.
This yet again sounds like a job for tomorrow!

Eh, far safer to chain your own vpns. At least the you know tunnel A cannot see tunnel B’s traffic. Who’s to say if Obscura is correctly doing as they say, or just decrypting it and forwarding over another tunnel. You can’t verify that yourself.

His defense of SHA-1:
Mathematically, for SHA-1’s 160-bit output, the birthday bound means that you would need about 1.4 septillion random files (1.4 quadrillion billion files - 1,400,000,000,000,000 billion - it’s impossible to effectively describe) in a single project to have file hashes accidentally collide.
For the most part the article mostly talks about collision attacks, which quite frankly i think is silly.
He also talks about hashes pointing to other (older) projects using a different hashing algorithm, but can’t the software just detect if its a SHA-1 hash or SHA-256, and fetch it accordingly? He acts like its the end of the world when in my mind most everything can (and probably will) be compensated for pretty easily. It’s reminiscent of the IPv6 fear-mongering.
The thing that gets me is he doesn’t say if the current hashing algorithm or the new one has any support for when hashes do collide. Since that can theoretically happen with both, to me that sounds like a problem worth tackling.
I’ve tried searching PeerTube a number of times, basically once a year, but no matter what topic I search for all I get are weird, stupid videos not even remotely related to what i want. From what i can tell there is no high quality content on the platform, and that makes me sad so i give up on it very quickly.

Sans-serif fonts predate the internet, but not by much. Their popularity started in the 1920s because they look “cleaner” and more modern. I tend to agree with this sentiment, I wouldn’t want to look at serif fonts all day long.

The English language loves ambiguity. Look at all the words with multiple meanings yet spelled the same way, even though we haven’t exhausted all 3-letter word possibilities.

One day after hunting, or 1 day after hunting? Like did he sleep with his belt and knife on? How do you not realize its still attached if you doffed and donned it? /s
I’ve beenntrying O t FUTO for the last week and have not been very impressed with it over Heliboard. The autocorrect predixtion is either way too aggressive for some words, or just doesn’t bother for other words. I mean I could say the same thing for Heliboard, but that tends towork just a little bit better for me. Btw I didn’t manually correct any typos in this reply, that’s all on FUTO.
Is this to conserve electricity? I don’t understand why it needs insulating, mine can handle gallons of water uninsulated.
GIT tracks changes, which doesn’t strike me as something that often happens with messaging. Unless you just always replace your last message with the new one, I guess, then sure!

If no bill is delivered how do you know how much to pay forward?

I use a few MA apps, none of which have declared the internet permission. Nor would I ever want them to have internet access.
But a few MA apps actually do require internet to work for their intended purpose, and I will never install one of those out of fear all the MA apps “secretly” talk/share/IPC my data with eachother, effectively granting all the non-internet apps the internet permission.
I’m not saying this is happening. But I’m also not about to delve into the entire codebase to find out.

I’ve always used Server Superstore, the prices are decent and never had an issue with any unit.

He’s going to violate a donut, isn’t he.
