  • If you’re serious, I have lots of ideas. Everywhere I look, I always see something to clean. I like to get outside during all the seasons and observe what is happening. I print recipes I like and make notes to tune them to perfection. Get a ukelele and a how to play book for beginners. Or skip the book and just make up little ditties. Go for a walk, do yoga, or body weight exercises. Start a journal. Write down at least one thing that happened each day. Bonus, add weather observations. Get a radio from a thrift shop. Call someone you haven’t talked to in a while. Check out your local library’s current periodical section. Check your local town and county for events or classes that interest you. Find a creative reuse store and get some crafty supplies. Find a board game group. There’s soooo much to do!

It also makes fabric wear out more quickly. In the last year, I have purchased sizes from 8-18. I don’t trust manufacturer measurements. I always measure and have returned many items that were much larger than stated. That’s something I have experienced going back many years though.
