  • What difference does most of that make? Sharing a room with others, sure. But I don’t walk around the house hanging dong just because I sleep in the buff. I put on some pj pants and a shirt, at minimum, to leave the room. My roommates have never cared what i slept in as long as it didn’t flash them on the way to the bathroom in the middle of the night.

My wife and I have our own room. I have a door, it is shut at night while I’m asleep and doesn’t open again until I get dressed in the morning. If you open it in that time and see penis and scrote or hairy ass cheeks, that’s on you. I don’t care if you’re a roommate asking me a question, a 6 year old that had a nightmare, or a fireman saving my life. You know what you risked when you turned the knob. If you give me a second of heads up or wake me and then wait for a sec, I’ll put on something. But I’m not sleeping in twisted up boxers with sweaty nuts sticking to my legs to make life more comfortable and convenient for everyone else in the house.

  • Its the min value of the input params, or Infinity.

And the reason it’s Infinity If there is no input, for better or worse, under the hood the method is assigning a variable, min, the highest value possible and then comparing it to each element in the list, reassigning it when it encounters an element lower than its value at the time. So it will obviously always be reassigned if there are any elements at all (if they’re less than Infinity, I guess). But if there are no elements, it’s never reassigned, and thus returns Infinity. It could have just signed min to the first element instead if Infinity, but that would lead to a runtime error when min was run without a function. If you’re not going to throw a runtime error though, it makes sense for min to return Infinity because, what other number could you return that couldn’t actually be the minimum

  • To be clear, 38" inseam means fully half of your height is in your legs (6’4" is 76"). By comparison, I wear 36" inseam and the bottom of my pants tuck under my heel when I’m not in shoes. So I think my torso has a few inches on yours.

Regardless though, I have not driven an exhaustive list of small cars. I have never tried a Mini Cooper. Maybe I would fit fine, idk. I just said that I have tried to drive a variety of rental cars and have yet to find one that fits me. I fit just fine in my Sienna.

  • I’m 6’3 and abnormally long in the torso, so I sit really tall. I do not fit in a lot of cars without my head touching the ceiling, sometimes crammed into it. I keep trying to save money by renting mid-size cars when I travel and it’s fucking miserable. Literally driving with my seat all the way down and still having to either lean my seat way back and barely reach the wheel or cock my head below the closed visor the entire time just to see straight ahead. Vans, SUVs and trucks are the only vehicles I’ve been able to even sit in comfortably since I was like 15 or 16. I wish I could drive a compact and save money on gas. But there are a LOT of cars that are off the table for me because I simply cannot fit in them.

My wife’s family is extremely health conscious and typically eats like rabbits. There’s not a dish they have encountered that couldn’t be “improved” with a metric fuck ton of broccoli, kale, onions, zucchini, etc. But they also love brownies. It is typically their only indulgence at family get togethers.

But instead of using eggs and oil in the mix like it calls for, they substitute those evil fats with applesauce instead. It kind of sort of works from a textural standpoint, but it definitely still tastes vaguely of applesauce which is not super desirable in a chocolate brownie. Ostensibly the idea is to make it “healthier” and lower calorie. But given all the sugar and other carbs in the batter (including the added sugar from the apples) the calorie difference is negligible but the end result is not the same at all. It feels like they missed the point and messed up the brownies for no reason at all. Doesn’t stop them from calling them “healthy brownies” though. Stretching the definition of “healthy” reeeeaaaal far.
